When in Metsovo, you will also have a chance to taste a number of local delicacies in addition to our wines. The Baron Michael Tositsas Foundation cheese-dairy produces butter and a range of select cheeses including Metsovone, Metsovella, Graviera and local goat’s cheese and parmesan. The village shops also sell other types of cheese along with locally-made sausages, salami and dried pasta. Don’t miss the opportunity to sample our local meats, the lamb in particular, and the pies and casseroles for which the area is renowned.
